About this design
- The idea
- The closely grouped columns and arcing arrow make a compact growth symbol, balanced by a calm serif wordmark that feels dependable.
- Layout
- Place a compact, open icon left of the name: three ascending columns sit beneath a fine arrow that arcs above them in one controlled flourish. Use a more vertical, tightly grouped column arrangement than the first concept to make the standalone icon feel like a small ledger or app mark, while keeping the name airy to its right.
- Lettering
- A high-contrast serif such as Libre Baskerville or a similar elegant text serif, with light tracking and a small, restrained second line for “Accounting.”
- Color
- Use charcoal for the wordmark and burgundy for the icon’s columns and arrow, with cream as the quiet ground. Keep the arrow and columns in solid, flat shapes, and check that their relationship stays clear in a single-color version.
