About this design
- The idea
- A simple pretzel framed by the bakery’s name gives Sweet Crumb Bakery the welcoming feel of a familiar neighborhood sign.
- Layout
- A classic, compact shield with “Sweet Crumb Bakery” following the upper and lower inner curves around one centered pretzel. Keep the pretzel as a bold, uncomplicated inked drawing with open space around it.
- Lettering
- Bold condensed serif lettering, set on curved paths around the shield interior; use sturdy, open letterforms to preserve legibility at small sizes.
- Color
- Use charcoal for the shield outline, lettering, and simple pretzel linework. Add restrained pastel pink, mint, and butter yellow as flat fills in alternating border bands or small shield panels, keeping the design clear in one color.
