About this design
- The idea
- The horizon-like split in the S connects the initials to Solstice without taking focus away from the act’s name.
- Layout
- Create a wide DJS lettermark in which the S has a crisp central break suggesting a horizon line, a subtle nod to the name Solstice. Pair the initials with DJ Solstice beneath them.
- Lettering
- Bold uppercase sans-serif initials, with a slightly narrower sans serif for the name line.
- Color
- Use #C2185B for the D and J and emphasize the S with a clean white horizontal cut through its center; set DJ Solstice in near-black for contrast.
