About this design
- The idea
- The compact arrangement and tucked-in serum drop give the name a gentle skincare cue while keeping the lettering in focus.
- Layout
- Create a poised, slightly stacked wordmark, with “Petal” above “& Pore.” A tiny serum drop can sit within the ampersand’s open space, integrated into the lettering rather than used as a separate icon.
- Lettering
- Bespoke, elegant serif lettering with softened terminals and a custom ampersand; keep the small drop simple and clearly separated from nearby strokes.
- Color
- Make blush pink (#E8A0B4) the main letter color; use cocoa (#3D2C2E) for the ampersand to add a subtle point of contrast. Keep pale pink (#FBEFF1) as an optional background.
