About this design
- The idea
- The Y and L meet in one compact shape, giving the company name a grounded, handmade-feeling monogram.
- Layout
- Build a compact YL monogram from two sturdy, interlocking forms: the Y descends into a shared central junction, while the L creates a firm base. Keep the letters legible and the silhouette simple enough to work on its own as an app icon; set the exact company name beneath.
- Lettering
- Bespoke YL lettering with carefully aligned intersections; pair it with a restrained sans serif for “Yamada Lawn & Landscape.”
- Color
- Let sage (#7D8F69) dominate the initials, using cream (#E8DCC4) for a clearly open gap between the letterforms and charcoal (#3B3B3B) for the smaller name below.
