About this design
- The idea
- Broad, squared shapes make this G feel precise and grounded, with a bright yellow segment giving Granite Group a clear point of recognition.
- Layout
- Construct the G from a few broad, squared-off geometric pieces, with a distinct horizontal stroke that makes the letter immediately recognizable. Place the smaller “Granite Group” directly below, centered; the G can also be used alone.
- Lettering
- Use a restrained sans serif with simple, open letterforms for “Granite Group.” Keep the lettering smaller than the monogram and centered beneath it.
- Color
- Use black for the main G and company name, with electric yellow in one broad internal segment. Maintain strong contrast and avoid fine details.
