About this design
- The idea
- Two F’s share one clean spine, giving Fable & Fern a compact signature that reads clearly on clothing and as an app icon.
- Layout
- Build a compact, custom FF monogram from two back-to-back F forms sharing a central vertical stroke. Place “Fable & Fern” centered beneath in smaller, restrained lettering; the initials can stand alone in the app icon.
- Lettering
- Custom geometric uppercase FF with carefully aligned shared strokes. Set “Fable & Fern” beneath in a small, clean sans serif such as Inter or Neue Haas Grotesk.
- Color
- Use red (#C1121F) for the dominant monogram, with the smaller name in black (#111111) on white. For the standalone app icon, reverse the initials to white on a solid red square.
