The idea: The open, upright FN gives Field Notes Apparel a minimal mark that reads clearly both with its name and on its own.

Layout: Set the F and N side by side as distinct, tall monoline letters with open spacing and squared ends. Place the exact brand name in smaller lettering directly beneath, centered to the initials; the uncluttered silhouette remains legible on its own.
Lettering: Straightforward monoline uppercase initials with even-weight strokes; use a restrained sans-serif such as Inter or Helvetica for the exact smaller line “Field Notes Apparel.”
Color: Make terracotta (#B5543C) the dominant color for the FN initials, use mustard (#E9C46A) for a single horizontal crossbar, and set “Field Notes Apparel” in slate (#2A3D45). Keep all regions solid and clearly separated.
