- The idea
- A half-sun lifting over a quiet horizon gives “Slow Sunday” the easy feeling of a slow morning.
- Layout
- Pair the name with a simple half-sun rising above two evenly spaced horizontal strokes. Keep the icon compact and the line weight consistent throughout.
- Lettering
- Use a clean humanist sans serif such as Avenir Next or Source Sans 3, set in a calm medium weight.
- Color
- Use deep purple (#5B2A86) for the sun’s outline, horizon strokes and name; fill the sun in lavender (#B79CED). Let soft white (#F6F2FB) remain the background and interior space.
