About this design
- The idea
- A centered hammer and sturdy shield give Keel & Beam Contractors a familiar, hands-on look.
- Layout
- A classic, compact shield with a single upright hammer at its center. Set “Keel & Beam Contractors” in three readable lines inside the shield, with the name above and below the symbol and no other text.
- Lettering
- Use a sturdy, traditional slab serif with broad letterforms, adjusted as needed to keep the full name legible within the shield.
- Color
- Use charcoal for the shield and lettering, with orange for the hammer and a few solid border accents. Keep the remaining areas as open negative space so the two colors stay distinct and the badge remains uncluttered.
