About this design
- The idea
- A fan-like frame around the T brings a graceful Deco touch to Timber & Tide without losing the letter’s bold, standalone shape.
- Layout
- Build a tall central T whose cap is echoed by a pair of balanced, outward-opening Deco bands, suggesting a fan without obscuring the letter. Place “Timber & Tide” centered below; the T remains recognizable when used alone.
- Lettering
- Draw the T as a bespoke, symmetrical geometric form. Use a clean, medium-weight sans serif for the smaller “Timber & Tide” lettering, preserving its exact spelling and capitalization.
- Color
- Make the T emerald and use gold for two broad, mirrored fan-like bands that frame its upper stem. Set the name beneath in emerald; avoid extra colors or fine lines.
